The Young And The Restless' star Billy Miller passes away 43-year-old Daytime Emmy winner

Billy Miller, a three-time Daytime Emmy winner who appeared on "The Young and the Restless" and "General Hospital," passed away in Austin, Texas, on Friday, September 15. Despite being 43 years old, he would have turned 44 today.

Michael Fairman, a soap opera journalist, confirmed Miller's demise. Although there has been no mention of a cause of death, his management stated in a statement that he suffered from manic depression.

Grand Prairie, Texas, served as Miller's upbringing. He began his acting career on the soap opera "All My Children," as Richie Novak, after being signed as a model by Wilhelmina. He became the fourth actor to portray Billy Abbott on "The Young and the Restless" in 2008.

Even though he left the program in 2014, he was recognized with three Daytime Emmy Awards: two for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series and one for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series.

Miller played Jason Morgan and Drew Cain after joining the cast of "General Hospital" in 2014. He was a regular on the show till 2019.

His additional acting credits includes roles in "Suits," "Ray Donovan" on Showtime, and "Truth Be Told" on Apple TV+.

Miller's parents, Bill and Sue Miller, sister Kelly Miller, and longterm partner Kelly Monaco are among the survivors. There has been no mention of a memorial service. Donations can, however, be made to the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children, according to the management notice.
